This was a test with a long exposure with a wider focal lens. I took a few shots and am still not sure if I like the framing
I tonemapped this image to try to get a larger dynamic range. To be honest, the only thing it helped was to bring the grass in. The trees are still quite under-exposed. I think I may have needed to do more then a bracket of 3 shots!
GW Parkway is a road that spans through out DC, Maryland and Virginia and runs has a stretch that runs along the Potomac river. The river is normally where the fog is in this photo. This image was tonemapped to disaplay a higher dynamic range. I almost feel as if 5 exposures should have been used to get back some of the detail in the foliage.
I'm not making a political statement, just taking a picture. I will say that I'm a little surprised that Eisenhower said this ... it sounds like more of a Ghandi or MLK quote!
Snaped this shot on my way up to the DC USA shoping plaza.
It was pretty cold out there and the weather had no effect on this guy's playing! I threw in a little money and snapped his photo. This was at night, and I think a 1.4 would have really been able to capture him a little better. Neighborhood: Gallery Place/Chinatown
